Spider Web Sugar Cookies
Getting Closer to Halloween! And our school project today is: working with royal icing, and the challenge for the class is to make royal icing at the perfect consistency and creating a spider web pattern. Drawing out the pattern was a lot fun, but it was harder than i thought. At first, I was looking at the spiral that i drew and I was pretty satisfied with it. Then i picked up a toothpick drawing lines through the spiral and I realised the lines were too close together! So I scraped off the icing and tried the web again. Overall, the bitter coca in the cookies balances the sweetness of the royal icing perfectly. this cookie is definitely something that I recommend trying and I will also need to practice more on it!
