Applebird
More fruit
arts! For this project, I needed to cut a swan out of an apple. At first, I
thought, looking at my apple, this is going to be so easy to make. However,
after my first cut into the apple, I realized, maybe I was wrong. I cut one
side of the apple to create a flat surface. Then I cut out 3 wedges from the
round surface of the apple as the wing. The most challenging part I find was
cutting the wings with even and thin slices. It took me awhile to figure out
that I could use the table as a guideline to level the apple. At least, the
apple did not fall apart. The finished product was much better than I thought
it would look like.
