Truffles
What could be better than making your own truffles for the one you love? These truffles were made in school during the week before Valentine's Day, and they have the fair sweetness. These truffles are easy to make, but the process of making the truffles can get a little messy. The main ingredients of these truffles are chocolate chips and heavy cream that are melted and mixed together. The truffles my group made turned out very soft even though we left it out to cool overnight. I'm taking a wild guess that we did not leave the chocolate and heavy cream mixture on heat long enough that not much moisture were evaporated. To solidify our truffle mixture, we pour the mixture into a bowl and start mixing it slowly over ice a bowl of ice to chill the chocolate. Though the product was still slightly softer than what I was looking for, our group was able to form the chocolate into balls.
